From 25 to 26 February, Wang Yu, Party Secretary and Chairman of the company, went to the Shenwan Lujiang EPC Project for examination and investigation. Jiang Bo, the Deputy General Manager of the company, the Deputy General Legal Counsel, and the main responsible comrades of the Office (Office of the Party Committee) and the human resources department joined her.
In accordance with the overall arrangement of examination and investigation, Wang Yu and the team went to the project site in the afternoon of 25th February. They made a detailed examination about the relevant situations of the Party organizations & groups construction, Party conduct and clean governance construction, the pilot of the project manager's responsibility system, and the progress of the remedying of remaining defects. They also carried out on-site inspection and assessment of the local Party branches construction, safety production, and the status of the Party conduct and clean governance.
In the morning of 26th February, the inspection team held a discussion with the manager, directors of each departments and the employee representatives of the Lujiang Project in the conference room. In the meeting, the main Party and company leaders first presented the project implementation status, summarized the works related to the pilot of the project manager's responsibility system, the Party group construction, corporate culture, and team building. Then, the participants discussed problems and suggestions on topics including the project manager responsibility system pilot, professional coordination, management improvement. The inspection team answered some questions raised by the local staff and arranged an implementation plan to address the suggestions raised by the project staff.
Wang Yu expressed fully reorganization of the Lujiang Project for putting the two units into production on schedule. On behalf of the Party committee and the company, Wang Yu expressed her respect and gratitude to the staff who participated in the Lujiang project construction. She emphasized that as a pilot project of project manager responsibility system, Lujiang Project has put into operation on schedule with high quality, which provides valuable experience and practices that can be used for reference, duplicated and improved by the company's other EPC projects in the next stage. Wang Yu required the project team and relevant departments to come up with and summarize the experience and practices. At the same time, she put forward six suggestions on how to develop the high-quality EPC projects in the next stage of the company. First, we should correctly understand why the company decides to develop EPC projects, and effectively enhance the company's talent value, management value and brand value through the development of the EPC business. Secondly, efforts should be made to cultivate the EPC market of the company. It is necessary to further emancipate the minds of the cadres and staff of the whole company from the perspective of the whole life cycle of the projects. Third, we must further improve the project management team building and project manager capabilities. We should establish a standardized management team and a standardized system. We should strengthen the project team's ability to supervise and control the subcontracting units and realize the professionalization of project managers. Fourthly, we should constantly promote the coordination of all segments in the EPC process. We should make full use of the project manager responsible system to give the project managers more authorities, improve the assessment of all relevant parties of the project, and conduct more research on the project-related interest adjustment. Fifthly, we should accelerate the speed to make EPC become the main profit growth point of the company and gain more profit from design optimization and lean management. Sixthly, we should land the grass-roots Party organizations on the projects. We should earnestly follow the requirements of the so-called "Five Integration" to do a good job in Party building, EPC Party building, clean governance, corporate culture and brand building for EPC projects.
In the end, Wang Yu stressed that the Lujiang project has been put into operation smoothly and entered the final stage. She hoped that all comrades in the project department would arrange and implement the next stage of work in line with the goal of providing high-quality products to customers and make more progress.
All the staff of Lujiang Project are encouraged by the visit and they expressed their determination and confidence to make further efforts in coordinating closely with other departments to complete the project's final work. They will ensure the project can meet the high standard and high-quality requirements and successfully passed the acceptance. They will solidly conduct the settlement work and completed the project successful.
During the visit, Wang Yu conducted a friendly conversation with Wang Xingzhong, the Deputy General Manager of Shenwan Energy Co., Ltd. and other management members of the Shenwan Hefei Lujiang Power Generation Co. They reviewed the struggles of "21+1", deployed the work of remedying defects at the end of the project, and prospected the follow-up cooperation.
