On July 29, 2009, NCPE held the opening ceremony of NCPE South Subsidiary Company in Guangzhou, which marks the South Branch formally established.

In the late 2008, NCPE decided to build up the South Subsidiary Company for the need of trans-regional, multi-fields and international business development. NCPE put great focus on the establishment of South Subsidiary Company and appointed Vice President Ms. Wang Yu in charged of the preparatory work.

Opening Chairman of Board Mr. Liu Chaoan, President Mr. Lian Yongjiu, Vice President Ms. Wang Yu and department managers attended the ceremony and witnessed the establishment of NCPE South Subsidiary. And Chairman of North China Power Institute Mr. Zhang Hengsheng was invited to attend.

 Inauguration ceremony was presided by Assistant to President Mr. Gu You. At 10:48, accompanied by the festival music and colorful flowers full of sky, Mr.Liu Chaoan together with Mr. Zhang Hengsheng unveiled the red curtain on the company’s brand.

After the opening ceremony, all attendees visited the offices. Then all held the South Branch symposium at site.  During the meeting, Mr. Yang Jun on behalf of the South Branch, Mr. Liu Jin on behalf of the production branch, Mr. Zhang Fuli on behalf of the management departments, Gu Yu on behalf of pre-preparation group made the speeches in turn. And Mr. Liu Chaoan, Mr Zhang Heng sheng, and Ms. Wang Yu gave the instruction and expressed the good willing and expectations.
